Naruto

Nagato is a prominent character from the anime series Naruto Shippuden. He first fully appeared in episode 128 of Naruto Shippuden, titled "Tales of Jiraiya the Gallant". He is a key figure in the Akatsuki organization, operating under the alias of Pain.

Nagato, an orphan of Amegakure, possessed the Rinnegan, a powerful and legendary dojutsu. During his childhood, witnessing the death of his parents, Nagato unintentionally unleashed the Rinnegan's power. Guided by the ideals of peace, Nagato, along with his friends Yahiko and Konan, founded the original Akatsuki with the goal of bringing peace to the world.

After the death of Yahiko, Nagato was manipulated by Obito Uchiha. He subsequently adopted the persona of Pain, a figurehead of the Akatsuki. Through his control over the Six Paths of Pain, he wreaked havoc in Konohagakure, seeking to force the world to understand pain and embrace peace through fear. Ultimately, his encounter with Naruto Uzumaki led him to reconsider his actions, and he sacrificed himself to revive the villagers he had killed.
